Henry Garcia, MD, FACOG

About

Henry Garcia, MD, FACOG, has been providing high quality care to the women of El Paso since 1999. He completed a degree in biochemistry at The University of Texas at Austin and earned his medical degree from Texas Tech University School of Medicine where he graduated with honors. Dr. Garcia furthered his medical training by completing  his internship and residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Texas Tech University Health Science Center in El Paso. During his training he was selected to serve as Chief Resident.

In 2013 and 2016, Dr. Garcia was voted “Best Gynecologist” in the city by El Paso Times. He has also shared his expertise on pregnancy and gynecology through numerous interviews on Univision, radio talk shows and magazines.

Dr. Garcia served as Chief of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Las Palmas Medical Center and as the El Paso district representative to the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is also a former member of the North Texas Region Perinatal Risk Advisory Board.

Outside of work, he enjoys swimming and spending time with his wife and four children.
