Long-time El Pasoan Jorge J. Villarreal, MD, FACOG, brings a wealth of expertise in obstetrics and gynecology in caring for his patients. After graduating from El Paso High School, he attended prestigious universities including Stanford for his bachelor's degree in biology and University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas for his medical degree. Dr. Villarreal completed his residencies in family practice and OB/Gyn at Texas Tech University in El Paso where he also served as chief resident.

Dr. Villarreal treats a wide spectrum of conditions and has received training in gynecology laparoscopy and advanced pelviscopic surgery. He has held numerous leadership roles including chief of the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Chairman of the women's and children's division, as well as chief of staff, all at Providence Memorial Hospital. He is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Texas Medical Association and the El Paso County Medical Society.

In his free time, he enjoys sports, fitness and is an automobile enthusiast. Dr. Villarreal is fluent in English and Spanish.
